Blackjack also called 21 is possibly the most loved games participated in on betting house tables. The game is played with one, 2, four, 6, and eight decks of cards. A croupier holds and deals out the cards of the single and double deck games, more than two deck games are generally dealt out of a box like device, referred to as a "shoe."

The game is based on simple arithmetic calculations. If the sum of the competitor’s cards is greater than the dealer’s cards without exceeding twenty-one the player is the winner. On the other hand if a competitor’s hand exceeds twenty-one that is called a "bust" and they immediately lose.

In one and two deck games games, the cards are kept facing down. The competitors are able to hold the cards, while in the ’shoe games’, gamblers aren’t allowed to touch the cards that are face up on the table.

Chemin de fer is a game built on connected events, where bigger cards remaining in the deck give the advantage to the player and the lower values give the advantage to the dealer. The excitement of the game is in the changing of advantages back and forth from bettors to croupiers.

Since the player has the privilege to act 1st, he has the advantage to stand on a hand that has the likelihood of going over 21. However if the gambler and the dealer both bust, the player loses. Thus gamblers are encouraged to understand how to play their hands properly and guarantee the best outcome, which is based on the mathematical tactic.

The card game of black jack is extremely simple to learn and even consists of the use of a basic strategy chart at the blackjack table for reference, and thus with little effort the competitors can make proper decisions.
